Hi,
I dont happen to see SLA related list on Request Item form. I have a SLA configured to run on request item table. Suggestions how can I see my SLA there?

Right click on the form header and go to configure -> Related Lists. then Add the related list Task-SLA->Task from left bucket to the right bucket as shown in the below snapshots.
Thanks,

SLA should not be defined on Request Item then based on best practice? That related list is TASK SLAs right?

Usually SLA's are defined on tasks like incident, change, problem, catalog task. Like incident, problem...etc, request item is also extending from base table "task", so you can find that related list on request item as well.
