We are a new ServiceNow customer looking at ways to store and organise custom data within the tool. Data can be basically anything, both in flat and hierarchical structures, supporting and integrating to various parts of the platform, but primarily catalog items driving drop-down values and choice fields.
Need-to-have features would be the ability to securely delegate administration of individual data sets to roles and groups/users, and the ability to create parent/child hierarchies.
Not keen on to re-inventing the wheel we're looking for others who successfully developed this or if there is existing material/guides out there which could be of help.
