Tables Do Not Maintain Settings

I'm trying to configure templates that use tables within our knowledge base.

Several settings I'm applying to the table do not seem to carry over from edit mode when actually viewing the KB article.

For example, I have set cell padding and spacing to 5, which is visible in edit mode. When I save and try to view the article, it's as if these settings are not present. I've also tried setting border size, which also does not seem to carry over from edit to viewing the article.

I've testing in both Chrome and IE, so it does not appear to be a browser issue.

Hmm.. does any body in your organization have that privilege?

It seems like it's not displaying the table-wide settings but only cell-specific settings. I've also noticed that any additional changes I make to the cell within the source code view it retracts whenever I save.

tested it again today and you are right.

I have started working with the Service Portal and the HTML Text Editor there is using the latest version of TinyMCE. Is possible to use that too on other HTML fields in Service-Now?

Additionally we have had several issue with importing tables from a Word document. I'm assuming this is playing a role in that as well.

They often come over from the import with a lot of the formatting lost and not correctly configured.

Loss of tables during Word Import is a known issue. We have it in our backlog.
