Unable to convert Read Only field to editable

  • I have a  read only due_date field on problem_task form.
    I need to make this field Editable.
    I have checked/verified/looked into all the following and nothing seems to be out of place.
    UI policy
  • data policy 
  • client scripts
  • ACLS
  • Dictionary Override

 

What am I missing??

What is the magic bullet to convert this field from Read Only to Write?

All help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @Josh Pirozzi . I did what you suggested. I still cant see this field in Editable mode. 
Any clues?

Hi @Zubair Alam,

 

Without seeing your instance, it's difficult for me to investigate further. The only thoughts I'd have would align with the areas where you've reviewed. 

 

Perhaps there is a non-OOTB UI Policy on Problem Tasks where the Short Description Name something other than / doesn't include Due Date, and another developer nested the Read-Only UI Policy in there?
