Unable to retire my Knowledge Base articles

Hello all,

I have admin, knowledge, knowledge manager and ITIL roles. Unfortunately I am not able to RETIRE published articles.

I can retire and delete UNPUBLISHED articles.

I have also tried to put an expiry date for tomorrow in the published article and it seems this does nothing either.

Its like the process behind the workflow state for published is not working.

Please can anyone help me what else to check - thank you so much.

What is the workflow that is set for retirement on that knowledge base?

Were you able to click on Retire button on the article and make the article retired or is that also not working?

If not working, can you click on show workflow in the article and check which workflow is causing this problem.

Mark the comment as a correct answer and helpful if this helps.

Apologies, I am newish to Service Now and especially workflows. Please accept my apologies if I am looking in the wrong place

Workflow Editor I can see many KNOWLEDGE workflows and one is called "Knwoeldge-Retire Knowledge". Am I looking in the right place?

In the left nav go to Knowledge > Administration > Knowledge Bases.  Then open the specific knowledge base you are having trouble with.  On the form layout you should see Retire Workflow.  This is where you will see the name of the workflow that is tired to this knowledge base for retirement.
