Hi All,
We recently updated admin pwd on our no prod instances and I manually updated the pwds on Remote Instances (Update Sources) so that we can retrieve update sets form dev -> uat -> prod.
Please advise where are these pwds stored so that I do not need to update them every time we clone.(Previously before we changed the pwds we never had to update pwds).
TIA

With the recently rolled out KMF you now cannot expect any longer passwords working on the instance you cloned over. Instead, you have to preserve the passwords on the target instance. Therefore, add sys_data_source to the persevered tables (see https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0717012)

Hi there,
Just use the regular routine of Clone Data Preservers. This way the records are just preserved fine and you don't have any manual post clone activities.
Doing properly, you can reduce the manual post clone activities to zero.
