I have attempted to create a view following the guidelines outlined at Here and Here for our project Kanban board.
I have created the VTB view as it did not exist, added a single field (State) using form layout, but the view doesn't seem to reflect when opening a VTB board.
Is there any way to update the Kanban board to use this view?

Hi - did you ever work out how to do this? I've got the same issue where only the incident table has a VTB view and no other tables show it even if I create a VTB from that table.
As you discovered, creating it manually doesn't do anything because it's not linked to the actual VTB...

Hi Matt.
I eventually learned that some tables have baked-in fields that you cannot disable from the VTB. In my example Assignment Group, Updated by and Assigned to are always shown on cards even though my VTB view only had State. It was linked, the behavior was just not what i expected.
