What does this mean? "Could not find a record in sp_rectangle_menu_item for column sp_rectangle_menu_item referenced in this update"

Hi all, I have found an issue in our instance when adding a menu item to the out of the box SP Header Menu. Am I doing it correctly?

The item is a simple menu URL with "sp" and the name is Service Portal Home.     Merely a menu item to take you back to the Service Portal index page or Home page.   I create an update set, navigate to Service Portal > Menus and open SP Header Menu.  I add the new menu item and that single item is in the update set.  I review the Service Portal and the menu item is there and works.  When I retrieve the update set into production and preview it,  I get an error on the only item in the update set.

"Could not find a record in sp_rectangle_menu_item for column sp_rectangle_menu_item referenced in this update"

Does this have to be done in Service Portal Configuration?

We didnt (cant) edit the Menu widget)

Thank, Ken

Just 'accept' this update and continue.

This is coming because you have a reference of this item in your update set, and the item doesn't exist yet. hence there is an error.

Did you have a glyph or other graphic on the menu item?

I've had similar errors when previewing an update set for some service portal header menu updates that included glyphs for the menu items.

Hi Ian.  Nope, no glyphs.  only fields edited were Label:Service Portal Home, Parent Menu:SP Header Menu, Type:URL, Order:10, HREF / URL:sp

Thanks, Ken
