What is the purpose of the Help field in the Field Label [sys_documentation] table?

Hi @Giles Lewis 

if you fill that field, a question mark icon will appear right beside the field label. After licking on that icon the help text is displayed.

Hi,

The help field doesn't do anything it appears. It looks like they were going to use it at some point and never did. This question even goes back 13 years...
