What role do I need to give for a RITM to be approved please?
We have a user which is ITIL but the approval dropdown is currently greyed out.
Thanks,
Lisa

If the record is waiting for the user approval, he can approve that request without having any roles itself. But if the user wants to approve other user request, he needs approval admin role in servicenow

Hi!
We only need the approver_user role, however this doesnt seem to be allowing the field to have more than read only permissions.
Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Are you sure, you are logging the correct user with whom the approval is routed.
Because there might a case where there are two users with the same name, but you are impersonating another user.
