The difference between the Watchlist and Following features is not clear. I need to clearly understand what information will be sent based on the feature selected to determine which or if both option should be triggered.

Thank you for the useful explanation. I'm still a bit confused about a couple of points.
1. Watchlist - I've been told that there were two versions of the Watchlish. One that is customer facing and the other that is internal and updates users watching that need to stay up-to-date on updates made in the Work Notes
2. Per a fellow teammate, I've been informed that users who Follow a record will also obtain email notification. There's not indication of that in the link provided in the original response. Do you have any insight on that?

[Jaspal]: Yes, that is exactly what it is used for.
2. Per a fellow teammate, I've been informed that users who Follow a record will also obtain email notification. There's not indication of that in the link provided in the original response. Do you have any insight on that?
[Jaspal]:
If you have any notification set up that is triggered on comments or work notes updates field then it would trigger notification.
Thanks,
