🚜 AgriAssist: AI-Powered Agriculture Support Portal with Multi-Language Dynamic Translation
Solving Real-World Problems with ServiceNow
I’m excited to share AgriAssist — a ServiceNow application I built to bridge the digital divide in agriculture by giving farmers AI-powered support in their own languages.
🌍 The Challenge
Across India, farmers often struggle with language barriers when trying to get agricultural guidance online. Most systems work only in English, leaving millions of non-English speakers unable to describe crop issues, pest problems, or irrigation needs effectively.
💡 The Solution
AgriAssist uses ServiceNow’s platform power to create an inclusive support system that adapts to each farmer’s preferred language in real time.
🛠️ Key Technical Features
1️⃣ Dynamic Multi-Language Form Translation
Real-time field-label updates when users select their preferred language
11+ Indian languages supported: Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Odia, English
Client-side logic built with ServiceNow’s g_form API for instant UI updates
2️⃣ Comprehensive Data Model
Agri Query Table – Core Farmer Requests
• Farmer Name
• Village/District (regional context)
• Preferred Language (11 choices)
• Query Description (multi-language input)
• Image Attachment (crop photos)
• Bilingual Crop Types (English + Telugu)
• Status Workflow – New → Assigned → In Progress → Resolved → Closed
• Expert Assignment with language matching
Agri Expert Table – Agricultural Specialists

3️⃣ Intelligent Expert Matching
Language-based routing: connect farmers with experts who speak their language
