Builds an app, but not really?

So I've started to play with IDE Build Agent in a PDI.  I took a project we had already built and wrote up the specs for what we currently have.  Gave it to IDE to try to recreate.  After a good long while, and several stumbles along the way on IDE's part, it finally told me "Congrats!  Your app is built!"  I tell it to deploy and I'm told I have to deploy in manually?  Okay, I guess.  So I figure out I have to go to Studio (something else I'm not familiar with) and find the app folder that IDE created, but there is nothing in it.  After looking a few things over I check out the documentation files that IDE had created and, to my surprise, one of the docs was a "here's what you need to do to build this" list.  Also, despite it saying it built EVERYTHING, it actually didn't and honestly I'm not seeing where it actually built anything.  Like it says it made a custom table but where can I see that?  I'm not seeing anything that it supposedly did.

So it built the app, spit all the code and everything into a file, and now I have to manually re-create literally everything on my own?  Is that how this product works or am I missing something?

Majority of the time asking Build Agent to Build & Deploy will do the trick. You can achieve this manually by clicking the "Build and Install" button at the bottom of the IDE in blue
