Datadriven Visual Task Board - Private Tasks cards not anymore visible and accessible

We have a problem that many cards (private tasks) are no longer visible(accessible), only for the owner.
That wasnt so before 3 weeks. Normally all who are in the correct assignment groups should see all cards.
I heard that they created a swimlane. Since that wasn't what was wanted, the swimlane was deleted again. Since then, the problem has been around for about that long.
Not all cards are gone, but some are. However, these private tasks (cards) still exist in the vtb_tasks table.

Check on your setup, because, by default, private tasks are just that: private. OOB they are only supposed to be seen by the user whom they are for.

Private tasks in a Data driven Visual Task Board (VTB) are only visible to the assigned owner by default. If you want others in the assignment group to see them, you need to clear the Privateflag on the tasks or adjust the ACLs/board membership.
