Hi @SusmitaB2125059

If the  plugin is not available or appears to be stuck during installation in your Personal Developer Instance (PDI), try the following steps:

1. Cancel the Stuck Plugin Installation

Sometimes, the plugin is actually installed in the instance database, but the Developer Portal fails to update its status.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your PDI.
  2. Navigate to System Diagnostics > Progress Workers, or search for sys_progress_worker.list.
  3. Look for the active progress record related to the Event Management plugin.
  4. Open the record and change the State to Cancelled (or Completed, if appropriate).
  5. Save the record.
  6. Check whether the Event Management plugin is now available in the instance.

2. Activate or Repair the Plugin Directly

If canceling the progress worker does not resolve the issue, bypass the Developer Portal and verify the plugin directly in the instance.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your PDI.
  2. Search for sys_plugin.list in the Application Navigator.
  3. Search for Event Management or the plugin ID com.snc.event_management.
  4. Open the plugin record.
  5. If available, click Activate or Repair.

HI @SusmitaB2125059

This is expected behavior in a PDI.

Some plugins, especially those related to ITOM/SAM etc, are resource-intensive and may fail to activate even after they are installed from the Developer Site. Since PDIs do not come with official ServiceNow support, there isn't much that can be done other than trying again.

My recommendation is to keep trying, and avoid activating multiple plugins at the same time. Instead, activate them one by one, allowing each plugin to complete successfully before starting the next one.
