i want to reset my servicenow pdi

I am new to the servicenow pdi and i have created forms, tables, records, catalogs and applications for my practice. So, now i want my pdi to be clean and look like New Pdi. Please help me with how to reset my servicenow pdi.

1. Open the Developer Portal

  • Navigate to the ServiceNow Developer Site and sign in.

2. Access “My Instance” Panel

  • Click your profile icon (top‑right) and select “My Instance” or Instance from the menu.

    • This opens the Manage Instance page. 

3. Click the “Actions” Button

  • On that page, you'll see your PDI with an Actions dropdown/button (⚙️ icon).

4. Choose “Reset and Wipe Instance”

  • In the dropdown, select Reset and wipe instance (sometimes labeled Reset & Wipe). 

5. Select Reset Options

A dialog will open—choose between:

  1. Keep my instance name and URL (just wipes content).

  2. Give up name and get a new URL (new instance entirely)

  • Important: Check the acknowledgment—this will erase all your customizations and data.

6. Confirm & Submit

  • Click Reset and wipe instance (or similar).

  • The reset process typically takes a few minutes to a couple of hours. 

7. Wait for Completion

  • You'll receive an email notification once the reset is finished.

8. Log Back In

  • After reset, access your PDI using:

    • Username: admin

    • Password: Provided via email or shown on the portal.

Hi @anandnaikk1 ,

You can reset your PDI in the Zurich release by following these steps:

 

  1. Access the Developer Portal
  2. Initiate the Reset Process
    • On the 'My Instance' page, locate your PDI.
    • Click on the 'Actions' button (⚙️ icon).
    • From the dropdown menu, select 'Reset and wipe instance'.

  1. Choose Reset Options
    • A dialog box will appear.
    • Acknowledge the warning that all customizations and data will be erased.

  1. Confirm and Submit
    • Click 'Reset and wipe instance' to confirm your choice.
    • The reset process will begin and may take several minutes to a couple of hours to complete.
  2. Wait for Completion
    • You will receive an email notification once the reset is finished.
  3. Log Back In
    • After the reset, you can log in to your PDI using:

                           Username: admin

                           Password: Provided via email or displayed on the portal.
