Hello Community,
I am working on Change Request in Service Operations Workspace (SOW) and I want to hide the “Calculate Risk” button only in Standard change that appears under the Risk Evaluation section.
What I have already checked:
System Definition -> UI Action
Calculate Risk UI Action Workspace options are already unchecked
Now Experience Framework → UX Form Actions
There is no UX Form Action related to Calculate Risk
How can Hide the Button ("Calculate Risk") in SOW?

Oh Yes; This one is confusing because what you’re seeing in SOW isnt a UI Action at all, which is why all the usual places come up empty.
In Service Operations Workspace, the “Calculate Risk” button is rendered by the workspace Change experience not by :
a classic UI Action, or
a UX Form Action
So unchecking the Workspace flags on the UI Action and looking for a UX Form Action is the right instinct it just wont work in this case.
Theres no supported way to hide just that button by itself that I am aware of. ServiceNow doesn’t expose it as a configurable action in SOW.
What most teams do instead and what ServiceNow generally expects is:
Hide or lock down the Risk Evaluation section for Standard changes
Use a condition like Change type = Standard
Make the risk fields read-only or hidden in Workspace
Thats basically upgrade safe and aligns with the idea that Standard changes usually don’t need manual risk calculation anyway.
Anything that tries to surgically hide only the button (DOM scripts, UI hacks) is brittle and likely to break on upgrades.
So, at short:
You’re not missing a setting. The button isn’t configurable on its own in SOW. The practical solution is to control the Risk Evaluation section based on Change Type.
