Tuesday
Hello, I am Soumitra Dutta, an Oxford-based entrepreneur with a passion for photography. I am trying to set up the development environment in ServiceNow IDE, but I am a bit unsure about the best way to get started.
Could anyone share the steps or tools you used to set up your IDE? Also, are there any best practices, extensions, or common mistakes I should be aware of?
Regards
Soumitra Dutta

Hello @soumitradutta26 ,
Go to developer.servicenow.com and signup to get your developer instance.
Navigate to All --> System Definitions --> Plugins and type ServiceNow IDE and install it. If already installed ignore.
Navigate to All --> App Development --> ServiceNow IDE and create a new workspace and start building your application.
ServiceNow have a wonderful feature called Build Agent wherein by using prompts you can create your application in minutes but there are limited prompts, so carefully use it. You can use up to 25 prompts I guess.
