When should I use ServiceNow Studio vs IDE vs Creator Studio?

Hey All,

Can someone briefly explain the difference between ServiceNow Studio, ServiceNow IDE, and Creator Studio?

I’d like to understand what each environment is used for, along with some examples of when to choose one over the other for application development in ServiceNow.

Regards,

Mohammed Zakir

@Mohammed8 ,

ServiceNow Studio, Creator Studio and the broader IDE ecosystem, the choice really comes down to skill level, complexity of solution and speed to market......Studio is your full fledged developer environment for deep scripting, integrations and scoped apps built by advanced developers.....Creator Studio is designed for business users or citizen developers building straightforward request/fulfilment apps with no or minimal code to move fast.....and in the middle you’ll often see the low code/visual environment (for example App Engine Studio) used when you need something more than no-code but less than full pro code, because once you build in Creator Studio you can often extend in Studio if needed and you pull in the visual tool when you want speed and ease rather than writing everything line by line........
