CAB voting

Need help. We find ourselves in a situation where specific teams need to express their agreement or approval during our weekly CAB meetings. Our goal is to streamline this process, making it efficient for everyone involved without the need for individual approvals within each group. We're particularly interested in finding a way for all relevant parties to cast their votes on proposed changes during these meetings. In this regard, I'm inquiring about the feasibility of implementing a live voting mechanism within the CAB workbench in ServiceNow. This feature would not only simplify the process but also allow us to maintain records of who participated in these votes. Does anyone currently do something similar in your organization. Please advise.

Hi @LadySGRho89,

 

It's not something live in CAB workbench, but you may be able to use the ask approval action in the flow for this. You could for example use the approval for cab in below way:

Thanks for this information. Can this be used not based on % but specific groups or individuals? For example, we need to have our regular CAB members as one vote and the Security team as a second vote. I want to do this while in the workbench so when reviewing changes, but the Change manager and someone from Security both have approval buttons they need to click before the change is approved.
