I would recommend using the SN Util web browser plugin so you can unimpersonate from any page. Alternatively you can amend your url to /$chat.do, then unimpersonate from there if you auto redirect users to the portal

No worries at all, the tools are pretty handy especially with navigation and searching so definitely recommend giving it a try out
