So based on requested for variable you are auto-populating MRVS? and if user has 100 records then you want to apply some filter on MRVS so that it shows based on what user applies the filter?
Out of the box this is not possible and I won't recommend using MRVS for this and even if you are planning to show using some custom logic/script that will be difficult to track and may break after the upgrade.
