• If user profile language is Canadian French: fr-CA

Can you expand a little on where or how you need to use this logic?

Is it based on when a user (with a certain language) views a page (native back end or portal), based on a a click event?

In Portal page,
when they click profile under name and select language as french-canada
then refresh the page, again go to portal again then click chat it shows french-canada language but now it shows English i want to change the based on the french-canada.

OK, so unlike the rest of the platform which assuming you have the language installed all forms and pages etc will be translated, the Agent chat needs configuring.

To do so, follow these high level steps.

 

- Type 'Designer' into the Navigation menu and click on 'Designer' under Virtual Agent to open up the Agent Designer workspace.

- In the top right hand side, there is a button called 'Manage languages' - Click on this. (Screen shot below)

- You'll be directed to a new page where you need to 'Select NLU Model'... select the option: 'Setup Topics Model (17 languages).

Also select the language required, in your case Canadian French

You'll then be presented with a list of 'Topics' for that language... I've show the screen shot for JA (Japanese) on my instance.

- Click on Test on the Greeting for example to ensure the chat works as required.

 

If you have any problems, you may need to navigate to 'Models' under the Navigation menu to enable the model, but on my PDI, once I tested a couple of the topics, and then changed the language on the Users profile via the Portal, both the forms, and the Chat displayed in the chosen language.
