Map report sources automatically getting removed

Hi,

 

I am facing a weird issue where every time I am creating a map source and adding it in the report and then saving the report and refreshing it the map source is automatically getting removed. In the first picture you can see map this data is showing the map source and I saved it and then after some time 2nd picture picture you can see that map this data is showing no map data selected  and same is happening for all the other map reports in my instance.

Also I am getting the below error although all the reports are correctly mapped.

Can anyone suggest why this issue is there?

Hi Maharshi,

I have also faced this issue of disappearing map source before, but it seems to be fixed using the latest UI after Xanadu Upgrade, can you kindly recheck please?

 

Regarding your 2nd query, that error is not coming because your reports are configured incorrectly.

This error generally comes if your Map Sources [sys_report_map_source] are not configured correctly with 3 hierarchical levels,

or the Location records do not have City, State/Province, Country, Latitude & Longitude updated for all Sites which are mapped with users/assets/other records, you can check that also.

Specially State & latitude-longitude is very imp to be filled up for all Location/Site records for this map report to work correctly.

1 suggestion is to create the default mappings in the Map Source "XOM Map Country", then change the Level 2 mapping to "Use table data" - if you have locations spread around the world, I have seen this helps.
