1. I have done my PG Degree in MCA 
2. Have hands on experience in IT Sector 
3. Learned Service Now things like Incident Mangement, Change Management from Service Now University 
4. Learning Developer tools ITSM, Client Side Scripting, Server Side Scripting

The best way to start is by earning the CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification, which builds a solid foundation in platform fundamentals, terminology, and core modules. Once you gain hands-on experience through CSA, you can decide your next learning path.

Employers value professionals with multi-module expertise, so after completing CSA, consider exploring areas like ITSM, GRC, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps to broaden your portfolio.

Currently, the training is free, which is a great opportunity — though the real challenge lies in gaining hands-on experience. To overcome this, spend at least 1–2 hours a day engaging with the ServiceNow Community — read discussions, answer questions, and share your insights to strengthen your understanding and confidence.

If your goal is to become a developer, focus on building scripting skills using resources available on developer.servicenow.com. Regular practice will enhance your technical expertise.

Atul: Based on my experience running 19 CSA batches, the starting point is the same for everyone:

1. Certified System Administrator (CSA)

2. ServiceNow Micro-Certifications

3. Certified Application Developer (CAD) if you are interested in development

After that, you can choose a specialization based on your interests, such as:

• Implementation Consultant

Atul: The best and most reliable source is ServiceNow's official learning platform. It should be your primary source of learning. My recommendation is to start with the official learning resources and then supplement your learning with community content and practical projects.

Atul: Certifications are important, but their value depends on how well you can demonstrate your knowledge during interviews and on projects. The market generally expects administrators to have a CSA certification. However, I recommend spending 6–8 months learning, practicing hands-on, and building confidence before attempting the certification.

Atul: Pick any real-world use case that interests you and try to build it in ServiceNow. The strongest projects are those that solve practical business problems and demonstrate your understanding of platform capabilities and best practices. One of my students started at around ₹5 LPA, but that was several years ago. My advice is to focus on gaining experience and getting your foot in the door. If necessary, be flexible with your initial salary expectations in exchange for valuable hands-on experience.

Atul: My recommended roadmap would be:

• Month 1–2: CSA preparation and platform fundamentals

• Month 2–3: Hands-on practice and personal projects

• Month 4–5: Micro-certifications and advanced platform concepts
