⌘ + / or ctrl + / that's shortcut to access any metadata file on the instance.

 

It really is as simple as committing that shortcut to muscle memory. It doesn't matter if you are deep in the weeds of a subflow, or in the middle of refactoring a hefty Script Include, calling on the search box can be done any time, anywhere.

 

Start typing and search will start looking for your file, filter results by files, tables or apps.

Activating code search will search for given text within script fields of files.

If you can't find the file you are looking for in the quick results, you can view the full results list by clicking on the view results for "{search term}" link.

On the Search results page, you can view all search results for a given category, open a list view to add additional conditions to your search or quickly search again by using the same shortcut.
