Create and configure a menu item

I am doing an activity trying to learn about Service Now. The statement is as follows:

"The access to Record Producer (by the user via the Employee Center portal) should occur through a Menu Item. Therefore, it must be created and configured."

I have already created the Record Producer, but I have no idea where to go to create the Menu Item. I am using the Xanadu version.

do you use Service Portal or Employee Service Centre?

For SP, you shall add that Record producer to Catalog and Category.

- click edit and select:

For ESC, you shall add that RP to Taxonomy:

If you are not sure, go to SP/ESC, select an item that you want to do similarly, and then replicate the configurations accordingly...

For Employee Center portal(esc) , you have to go taxonomy and from there need to create menu and under menu can add catalog item or Record Producer.
