Please add the SN Utils extension in the browser.

Hi @nikhatP

To display the backend field names (column names) directly on your ServiceNow forms, developers and administrators usually rely on the popular SN Utils browser extension (refer:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJzT3HGTHXQ).

  • Install the SN Utils extension for Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
  • Open any ServiceNow form.
  • Use the shortcut

If you do not have extensions installed, you can find a field's backend name natively:

  • Right-click on the field label at the top of the form.
  • Select Configure Dictionary .
  • Look for the Column name field. This is the backend name of the field

SN Utils is one of the most downloaded Chrome/Firefox extensions by ServiceNow developers for a very good reason. It saves time! Arnoud Kooi joins me to demonstrate how it works Topics * 00:00 Introduction * 02:26 Installation * 04:36 Exploring tables * 07:53 Slashcommands * 10:18 Extending slash
