To display the backend field names (column names) directly on your ServiceNow forms, developers and administrators usually rely on the popular SN Utils browser extension (refer:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJzT3HGTHXQ).
- Install the SN Utils extension for Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
- Open any ServiceNow form.
- Use the shortcut
If you do not have extensions installed, you can find a field's backend name natively:
- Right-click on the field label at the top of the form.
- Select Configure Dictionary .
- Look for the Column name field. This is the backend name of the field
