Hi
I need help undoing an action that I unknowingly did using an SN Utils command (supposedly I typed //dn but not sure), and now I am getting this Warning message Update Set: Default global (highlighted in red color in the attached screenshot) on the banner of my SN developer instance. Can someone let me know how can I remove this warning or undo the action caused by a SNUtils command.
Thanks

It is only recommendation from SNUtils to inform you to create a new update set, it has no impact on you or any other user.
If you will make any changes it will be saved in Default update set and it is not considered good practice. Nothing else, you don't need to worry.
It is basically the same as ServiceNow does ootb - the red highlight of the Default, if you make any non-Default update current, both the red highlight as well as the message will disappear.
If you want to verify, deactivate your SNUtils - the red highlgiht will remain because it is OOTB ServiceNow feature.
Then activate it back and change to another update set, both things will disappear.
It is a help for developers.

Hi @RajagopallaV ,
Change the scope from global to any custom application and select any updateset in custom app then when go back to global scope that waring will disappear.
If my response helped, please mark it as the accepted solution ✅ and give a thumbs up👍.

Hi Anand
I have not used my instance to create any update sets or changed any application scope. I have just created a few records in the process of learning.
Thanks

This appears by default as a reminder, recommending you create and switch to a custom update set.
It’s best practice to work within your own update set to ensure that all configuration changes you make are properly tracked and can be moved across environments when needed.
If my response solves your query, please marked helpful by selecting Accept as Solution and Helpful. Let me know if anything else is required.

You can disable this in the settings tab of the popup by unchecking the setting like below.
