Welcome to ServiceNow Simulator Stuck on Terminated (0 instances remaining)

"Hi, I am currently stuck on Task 4 of the 'Micro-Certification - Welcome to ServiceNow (Zurich)' course. My simulator instance status is showing as 'Terminated' with 0 instances remaining.

I have tried unenrolling and re-enrolling in the course multiple times, but the 'Request Lab Instance' button remains greyed out and will not open. Could an administrator please reset my simulator allocation or provision a new lab instance for me? Thank you!"

There appears to be an issue with lab instance. Since your lab instance has already been terminated, there is very little that can be done from your side.

I recommend logging a case through Now Learning under the Help Center. The support team will be able to review the issue and guide you on the available options.

Hi @InapakollaSiva 

 

  • You are likely allowed a maximum of 2 running instances across all courses.
  • Terminate Other Instances: Go to your Now Learning Dashboard and terminate any active lab instances for other courses that you are not actively focusing on to free up the slot
  • Once a lab instance is marked as Terminated, it cannot be restored or reactivated. Any data or configurations stored in that instance are no longer accessible.
  • To continue with the course, you’ll need to request a new lab instance and proceed using the newly created environment.

If it is you lab instance in Servicenow University and if you are unable to find in which other 2 course - you already requested lab instance, You can take Now learning support help.

Raise a case to Now Learning support.

Hi @InapakollaSiva,

 

ServiceNow will allow to use 2 lab instances for the entire courses. 

Check if you have already an instance is opened for any other course. If so, terminate the instance and so that you will get a new lab instance. 

If you are unable get to know, raise a case in the Help Center.
