" Enter an account or consumer in customer order " error while selecting a product offering from the service portal. I am currently building a portal for SOM i.e. sales and order management for telecoms and needed to display the product catalog for user to select the products and services, I am using a OOB widget i.e. product catalog but facing error mentioned in the subject. Please suggest a solution.

does the user accessing the catalog has customerservice_customer role?

@MohanKrishV Did you solve this? I'm facing the same issue, but the user has the [sn_customerservice.customer] role, but has no account associated and I'm getting the same error.

Hi @MohanKrishV ,
The error “Enter an account or consumer in customer order” occurs because the system doesn’t recognize the selected account as a customer account.
To fix this, follow these steps:
Open the Account record that you are using for the order.
In the Account form, make sure the Customer checkbox is checked
This flag tells the system that this account can be used in customer orders.
Save or update the record.
Then, go back to your Service Portal and try to select the product again.
Once the Customer checkbox is checked, the system will allow that account to be used for product offerings and order creation without showing the error.
