Anyone have any recommendations on further details of how to trouble shoot the set up of the free-form roadmaps? I was able to figure out AWP in the other release, but we've just put Tokyo in our Sandbox environment and it works differently.
I am in the PMO trying to make this work, so I am not a full admin in ServiceNow. I have AWP admin role, they've given that to me. I need better resources I can read or watch on how to set some of this up.
Right now I've done the directions for Integrations, they turned on the OOB Lens for me and when I go to AWP I still don't see any demands or projects.
Any thoughts? Oh and I don't have money for a consultant on this one right now.

I am doing it through one of the out of the box lens "organization lens" for demands. What's odd is that If I go to planning items I see many demands, but in APW there isn't anything in the department field, but if I open the demand in the field called department there is data. In the APW world where is it getting the department field?

HI,
APW is using the Department Reference from the Demand. After you create your plan, if you click on the Prioritization tab, do you see anything listed?
If so, then you only need to set the record(s) to prioritized for them to show in the Roadmap. If you are not seeing anything, try going to the Alignment Planner Workspace > Integrations list and open the ServiceNow Integration.
Once you are in the Integration form, click the Import button to force population of planning items.
hope this helps,
Mark

We would like to help you. I see you are on Tokyo, it sounds like you may also have the November Store Release update. We can setup some time to help you. We also have events setup to help with this topics, the next one is Nov 22nd.

Let me know what works best,

I've signed up for the event for next week, but in the mean time asking a few questions would be great. I had to go to my IT ServiceNow team to make sure it was OK I talked to you directly and he said it was fine. Let me know what we need to do next.

Hi,
the title mentions Free-form Roadmaps. These do not use the Lens functionality but instead work as they did in the prior version. Adjust your filter as needed to view the roadmap planning items (Demand or Project).
With Lenses, could you describe what you have tried and perhaps we can determine what might be going wrong.
thank you,
Mark
