We are in the midst of upgrading from Madrid to Paris.
Understand that there are 2 new fields: Approved Start Date and Approved End Date in Project.
However - just curious - for those existing projects, where will the Paris version pluck the value and insert into these 2 new fields?
I have done some checking - it doesn't follow those planned start and end date from demand.
Any idea?

I am fairly confident, for existing projects created in Madrid...after you upgrade to Paris the new date fields of approved start date and approved end date will remain empty.
Please mark reply as helpful or correct if applicable (I'm working on a badge!). Thanks, Rae Ann

Hi
Maybe the new fields are not touched at all, because I would wonder why an "approved Start Date" field may be populated with the value of the "planned start date"...
Note sure.

The 2 new date fields are carried over from converted Demand. They are not updated as part of date rollups business rules. Approved dates won’t be impacted/changed while PMs are building the WBS (work breakdown structure). Demand start and end date will be retained as 'approved' project dates.

This is the correct answer. The fields are used when converting a demand to a project.
