SPM Demand Assessment - How to Allow Re-submission of Assessment

OOTB, after submitting an assessment for demand, can the respondent revise their answers after they clicked "Submit"? If we want to make this happen, where and how can we configure it, are there any codes/ business rules to control this? Many thanks!
