Can Actual start date / End date on Project not to be rolled up from the project task

Hi, is there a way to switch off the roll up of the Actual start date / Actual end date on the Project from it's child project task's actual start date/end date?

There is no out of the box property to enable this behaviour.

By the way, interested to understand the business requirement behind this ask. Maybe there is another way to achieve the requirement hence checking.

For my business we don't use the standard date fields because we only care about the day, not the time. So I created new start and end date(only) fields and we update these manually.  
The original start and end date fields keep getting updated when a project task date changes even though we don't use them anywhere. It's highly annoying to not be able to update this process to use the fields we actually care about.

Hi @Namita Mishra , The reason is that the customer does not create project tasks, that would cover the whole duration of the project, but creates only 1 or couple of project tasks, their duration would not fully spread across whole project, therefore rolling up the actual start and actual end to the project provides inaccurate data for the project start&end.
