Can SPM have read-only access without requiring a license?

Our PMO was asking if business leads could have read-only access to SPM.

We're fairly limited in our licensing and are keeping those limited to the Project Managers primarily.

Is there a way to allowed non-licensed users read-only access to SPM so they can review projects and project tasks without incurring a licensing requirement?

That would require a business stakeholder license to see that level of granularity. It's a much cheaper license. Worth speaking with your account rep on the options.

Are those with a Requestor license able to be assigned to a project and update their tasks? Can they log time in time management?

Hi, by requestor license I assume you mean unlicensed / self service users. These users can't do either of these actions. They'll either need an SPM license or time card user license

Hi @shannonmcov Servicenow SPM has a new license named 'Team member' license which is specifically designed for this purpose. It's cheaper than the regular SPM license and gives users access to view and update their project tasks. It also gives access to ServiceNow Collaborative Work Management workspace which is a lighter task management tool. Please reach out to your account exec to learn more.
