Cannot Change Project State to Pending , unless all tasks are moved to Pending

I have a Project which is currently in work in progress and have two tasks.

The first task is closed complete and second is pending.

I am required to make the project as Pending but it wont allow unless all the tasks are set to pending but ideally one of the task is closed complete.

 

Is there any suggestion how to handle this.

Hi Nazia,

As this is not possible OOTB, we have a custom field "Sub-State" developed for tracking on-hold projects. This way my project will remain at the current state and task progress, till the date it is moved back off-hold and ready to progress further. Also I have a report created to track the no of on-hold projects.
