Hi,
I'm sorry if this is might not be the right place to post this question, but I need to ask how best to explain to non-it people what servicenow does and how it would help them?
I'm having trouble coming up with a good description as close to layman's terms I could get and how it is better, at least in my opinion, compared to other ticketing systems such as R*medy

Rafael,
You should be able to contact you Service Now POC for the detailed information. I think they would be your good source for this information.

Hi Rafael,
ServiceNow is a cloud based platform toolset that enables an organization to automate and consolidate a wide number of requests, processes, services and workflows across business domains, meaning that you can use the ServiceNow platform for your IT, HR, Facilities and so on. Bringing all service domains onto a single system of record is incredibly powerful for any organization.
