Change Report Color

I would appreciate some help with reporting colors.

I have created a report called "overall project health" using the project_status table, a type of semi donut and grouped by overall health. It displays the values from that table of Red, Yellow & Green, but the only color in the graphic that is correct is green. For example, the Yellow status results display in a blue color on the graph. Is there a way that I can change the colors so that values Yellow = a yellow color and Red = a red color? I would like to change it for this graph only and not the entire system if possible. Thanks for your help!

Hi John,

Yes, check out this page for how to customize your chart colors:

Then remember to use the gear next to the type field to use the custom colors.

Thanks Chuck. I was on the right track but when defining the colors found that the value was case sensitive. I was entering Yellow instead of yellow, etc. Thanks for the gear tip as well. I would have missed that! I really appreciate the help. Thanks! You deserve

I only remember the gear because of another community thread I helped with earlier this year. We went round and round until that came up. (It should be clearer in the wiki/docs site, IMHO.)

After you've tested it, let me know it if all comes together to answer your question.
