Configuration or Customization Project Workspace

Hi Together!

One of my customers wants a customisation in the Workspace project. He would like to have only the PLANNING option visible or available in the left menu area of a project and hide all other options so that they are not displayed.

The customer does not want to confuse his users too much and therefore only "planning" should be used in the project workspace for the time being. With other words: the customer only want to use the project workspace with planning and Gantt and all other function shall be used in the main project table. 

So how can i realize this requirement? how can i configure the project workspace in that way?

Please clarify following points:

1) "One of my customers wants a customisation in the Workspace project. " - Do you mean New project workspace?, refer screenshot #1

2) "and all other function shall be used in the main project table." - By "main project table", do you mean project form?

The reason as mentioned above is - "The customer does not want to confuse his users too much" - Please elaborate the points which create confusion to end users.

Hi Namita!

to 1: yes absolutely, i mean the new project workspace

to point 2: here i mean the normal work in the pm_project table as you see the form in the attachement.

so the customer dont want to use the old planning console with the gantt planning and instead use the new project workspace. but there only the function "planning".

so i have to deactivate the following in the new project workspace:

details

financials

ridac

Classic Project workspace

the user shall only have "planning" visible in the project workspace.

Hi @Namita Mishra is it also possible to change the order of the menu? e.g. set the 'Details' on the top and the  'Planning' bellow it? if this impacts what is displayed first when the user opens the project workspace, in case they want to be redirected first to the the details of the project instead of the planning (gant)?
