Copy Benefit Plans related list data from demand table to project benefit plans.

My project requirement is to copy benefit plan related list data to project benefit plan whenever new project is created from demand.

Hi @Reena Kumari2 ,

The requirement that you have raised in your post is actually out of the box functionality.

This means whenever a project is created from demand, the benefit plan and its breakdowns are transferred to the project.

For example:

Below is the demand -> benefit plan.

On creating the project, the same details are transferred to the project as shown below:

Hi Namita,

I checked this functionality but I can't see any changes on project benefit plans. I didn't copy from demand benefit plans.

Can you help on this? what can be the reason for this?

Project form:- I can't see the copied benefit plan.

Hi @Reena Kumari2 ,

If I understand it correct:

1. Demand has benefit plan

2. Project is created from this demand

3. In the project created from demand, the benefit record is not visible.

This looks some customization at your end... because this is not inline to out of the box behaviour.

Can you check the following in the created project:

1.  Financials -> Planned Benefit ...

2. Baseline information:

   Benefit plan information in the auto-created baseline, refer below screenshot...

In case there is a customization to stop transferring the benefit plans from demand to project, I would expect none of the above information should be visible.... In any case, please check within the organization if there is a customization.
