Demands and Strategic Planner Workspace (Alignment Planning Workspace)

Hello all,

I am trying to understand the relationship between Demands and Strategic Planner Workspace, specifically the prioritization within the Portfolio Planning.

I assumed that when a demand is approved OR a project is created within a specific portfolio, then that demand or project would automatically be included in the Prioritization backlog within the strategic planner workspace. When I try and test this, the demands and projects with the same Portfolio do not show up in my portfolio plan (the prioritization section).

Is this not the intended functionality? I see that you can create a demand or a project directly from the portfolio plan but I don't think my organization would want to do that as we will be using the Demand module.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Sierra

Hello, you can configure how data should flow: both directions, alignment to execution, execution to alignment

Hello, Strategic Planner works with its own set of objects and planning items. A demand created in the demand module is not automatically related to a planning item. To achieve that, please activate & configure the alignment integration, bridging the planning and the execution sides.

Thank you so much for your response Juergen! So it is possible, we just need to configure it? Wonderful, I really appreciate your support on this question!
