I'm experimenting with Resource Assignment in the Project Workspace, Portfolio Planning workspace and Resource Management Workspace. New to Resource Management in ServiceNow.
I have a resource group set up and can create resource assignments on the Project workspace. I have to use the 'group' field rather than the 'resource' field to select the group when creating a resource assignment.
I can see the assignment reflected in capacity planning in Portfolio Planning Workspace.
However, when I create a resource card for the group in Resource Management Workspace, I don't see the assigned tasks. Everything is blank. I noticed that the 'filter resource' field I'm using is called 'Primary Resource Group'.
Questions:
What table is the filter for resource cards working from?
Is there a dependency between Resource Management Workspace with Employee Center or Employee Profile?
What is 'primary resource group' as opposed to just 'group' and how do I set a 'primary resource group'?
Thank you!
