How do you set and display a resource capacity for a designated team/users? For example, Shane from Applications Development only has 20 hours a week to work on projects.

A user's capacity is determined by the Schedule assigned in the User record. Example: Schedule '8-5 weekdays' provides 8hrs of capacity each week day. To see the baseline schedules, search the navigation menu for System Scheduler / Schedules. A users capacity starts with their schedule, and capacity is consumed based on events that impact a schedule. Find My Calendar, and find the information icon upper right, this shows the types of activities that consume a users capacity.

Hi Victoria,
1. go to the user record for the person in that group
2. change the view to the resource manger view
a.
3.once in the resource manager view you can do the following:
1A.Select the amount of daily hours the resource will be available
2A. Select the schedule this resource works. (you may need to create a new schedule if the OOB do not account for the correct availability)
Hope this helps you!
