Hi All,
We have defined custom rate types (high and low )apart from the OOB standard rate type. we also defined a standard rate model and rate lines associated to it including rate types but always the default rate type is picked.
Rate types:
Rate Model
Rate line
we have a project with the rate model associated to it and when the user type resource plan is created from the project, always the standard rate 50 is picked instead of the rate lines defined in the associated rate model. The rate line attributes matches with the user parameters but the issue seem to be with the rate type. So is it possible to use different rate type other than the default (standard) rate type in rate models.
When i looked into the scripts used to calculate the planned cost, the RMRateModelApi is always picking the default rate type.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Community Alums ,
I believe that at the time of actual cost calculation, based on the rate type selected from the time sheet, system must be considering the correct rate line for calculating the actual cost.
Can you please confirm?
Thanks,
