After setting up the Jira integration with Agile development, i can import/export stories, epics and sprints.

The field maps of the table map rm_story consists of 6 fields. ( sprint, state, short_description, parent, description and assigned_to)

Is there a way to add fields ? (like eg story points)

If you're using the Atlassian Jira Integration for Agile Development plugin, ServiceNow has a docs page that provides some instructions on how to do this: Apply custom map configuration to multiple Jira projects.

The steps aren't the most detailed and imply that you need to view/edit a JSON file in order to make the changes.

*Disclaimer: I've looked into this, but haven't actually performed these steps myself, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Good luck, and please let me know if this worked for you as I'll be attempting this in a few months.

Hi Adam,

I tried to add info to the custom map configuration, but that doesn't seem to work.

Hi Frank

I'm working as a pre-sales engineer with Exalate.

Exalate was designed with exactly these types of use-cases in mind, you could say that it is our "bread and butter".

One of Exalate's features, apart from syncing tickets bi-directionally, is sending over scripts. stories , epics and sprints.

The entity types will out-of-the-box be fully bi-directionally syncronized, which means, if a field gets updated on either side, it will automatically update on the other side, you can change this to make it uni-directional if you so please.

Exalate is easy and straightforward to set-up and you can control exactly which data you want to send and/or receive.
