Hi,
On the Demand form once the Demand is in Screening State if the Assessment Required is Cheked all the users who are in Demand Stakeholders will receive an assessment to give the rating based on the rating the Score is getting calculated.
When i see the Assessments Metric record of Demand we have 5 Metric Categories but only 2 is getting displayed to the users in the Assessment though we have other Categories which satisfies the trigger condition like ROI it has trigger condition as Category is Strategic but still is not triggering. Is there any logic behind this how these are getting displayed.
By default only Strategic Alignment & Risk category are sent to the user.

Hi
Based on the way demand assessment metrics are calculated, you can categorize them as:
A) Scripted Metrics
B) Assessment Metrics
Only the assessment type metrics are sent to the selected stakeholders & they provide the values from 'My assessment and surveys' page that is why only two categories as you have mentioned above are sent to the folks selected for providing the assessment.
Actual value for scripted type metrics are calculated as per the mentioned script. These metrics are not sent to the selected user for getting the value.
Following table describes OOTB metrics, along with their categories & calculation method:
Category | Metric | Method |
Size | Size | Scripted |
Strategic Alignment | Priority | Scripted |
Corporate Initiative | Assessment
Operational Excellence | Assessment
Process Innovation | Assessment
Competitive Advantage | Assessment
Risk | Time Delay | Assessment |
Business Case | Assessment
Business Expansion | Assessment
Commitment | Assessment
ROI | Impact | Scripted |
Financial Return | Scripted
Cost | Labor Cost | Scripted |
Capital Cost | Scripted | |
Operational Cost | Scripted
For example: Size is scripted metrics which means it gets calculated as per the script. Its value is directly derived based on the value of the size field present on the respective demand. As per the script if the T-shirt size is XXLarge then actual result for size will be 10.
Hope this clarifies the reason of users getting just the metrics for Strategic Alignment and Risk category.

Typically T-shirt size is used to define the scope of work.
Hope this helps.
