Hello All,
When a Resource plan is requested for specific group with hourly rate as $200 for 100 hours the planned cost is $20K on the Resource plan.
A cost plan record is created with total planned cost as $20K.
Once the Resource plan is "Confirmed and Allocated", the below fields
Resource Plan: "Confirmed/Allocated Cost" field is set to b.
Cost Plan: "Total Planned Cost" field is set to $5k
We understand that $5k is calculated from the "Default rate" from system property.
Please see the snippet below:
Could you please let us know how can we change this to get hourly rate from rate lines and update accordingly.
Thanks you!

Hi @Knight Rider ,
Thanks for reaching out to community.
Looking at your post, I feel that you have not associated the rate model with project hence system is fetching the default rate i.e. $50 per hour.
Please try following:
Login as a project manager
Access the Financials from project form and associate the rate model, refer below screenshot
ā
Try creating the resource plan again.
Hope this will resolve the pain point. If it does please mark the response as correct.
Happy SPM Learning !
Thank You!
