Planned Internal (Opex) Cost

For resource assignments, in order to create the cost plan, we use the "Generate Labor Costs" when they are first created, and then again if the hours on the RA go up or down. Where can I tell if the hours increased/decreased on a RA so I can ensure the cost plan is accurate when reviewing another PMs project. I used to be able to see History on the RP, but can't pn the RA. Or is there somewhere in the project that shows the updated Planned Internal (Opex) cost so I can compare it to the Cost plan to be sure the PM regenerated the labor costs when they increased/decreased hours? Once we switched from RPs to RAs, the Planned Capital does not show any longer on the Project task (we do not add the task to the RA, we leave it at the default which is the Project#). Appreciate any help!

Hi Melissa.  The list of Resource Assignments in your project can be sorted by their 'updated' value, which is a date/time field showing the resources.  You could also personalise the list so that it displays both the 'created' and 'updated' fields, so that you could see which was updated after it was created.

If you had a financial baseline from beforehand, you'd also be able to see it against that data, but I know I don't baseline every project weekly.

Hi - Thank you for that suggestion, I just did a test and it does not matter what edit you make to the RA, it will show updated even when it goes from Pending to Approved, so that does not tell me if the hours were adjusted. As far as a baseline, I think I have figured out a way to use that, so thank you for that suggestion, it does show the Current "Planned Cost" even if the Labor Cost has not been updated yet. That will have to be the solution for now. Thank you!
